Ballymaloe is situated in rolling farmland in East Cork, 30 kms from Cork City (pop. 200,000), our nearest airport. We are 9 kms south of the main road (N25) and 3 kms from the sea.

There are many coves and beaches within a 15 minute drive varying from small and rocky to large and sandy. Longer walks can be taken at Ballycotton cliffs, in local woodlands and along the beaches closeby. There are also many beautiful drives through the surrounding area. These can take anything from half an hour to a full day.

Getting Here:

  • Cork Airport is a 45 minutes drive from the hotel.
  • The hotel is a 40 minutes drive from Cork City, the second biggest city in Ireland.
  • Other local areas of interest include Midleton(15 minutes) and Castlemartyr (10 minutes).
  • Dublin is 4 hrs away and Shannon Airport is a 2.5 hrs drive from the hotel.
